Hello my Lipstick Lovelies,
What a busy week it has been at Lipstick HQ. Thank god we had the gorgeous weather and naughty bank holiday to relax!
Our fave celebs have been out in force across the globe rocking their Lipstick looks. Made in Chelsea’s Lucy Watson looked chic in our ‘Ivy’ dress on her recent trip to Cannes with new beau Spencer Matthews, and Kiss FM radio Host Charlie Hedges showed off her sun kissed skin in Lydia Rose Bright’s ‘Grace’ whilst DJ’ing on the white isle and we think she looked fab!

LOOK OF THE WEEK
My look for this week is the ‘Poppy Emerald Green’ dress from the beautiful Jessica Wright’s collection.
If you are going away to somewhere sunny this is a must have in your suitcase!
The colour looks great with a sun kissed glow and what’s great about it is that you can dress it down for a chic evening look for dinner, or add a pair of heels to it if you’re partying the night away.
Team it with these gold sandals, and some mix and match bangles, or add a pair of wedges if you’re planning on showing off your pins on the dance floor!

Travelling lightly can be a bit of a drama for any make up addict. My tip is simple, carry essentials only. Only pack the make -up essentials that should include a lightweight foundation, bronzer, waterproof mascara, an eye shadow you will wear most and a tinted lip gloss. In hotter climates, caked on make- up will just drip off – so keep it light and fresh to keep your skin looking fabulous.
As a frequent traveller myself, for work and play these are my top products that I swear by for any trip in the sun!

With Holidays in mind, I can’t help but cast my mind back to 2011. Having a Sex and the City moment, and enough of men – me and my best friends packed our bags and got on the first plane to Ibiza.
We stayed at Ibiza Rocks and I loved the whole vibe of the hotel. I couldn’t help but think Ibiza had been the answer to all of our problems.
One of my fave bands, The Wombats were playing at the hotel. After failing miserably to spot them at an after party, and with very sore feet we headed back to the hotel. This had been our third night out and despite me usually being the last one standing back home, the sun, sangria and sleep deprivation were now taking their toll. Desperate for a few hours of shut eye, me and the girls snuggled up and finally got some sleep.
An hour later, I hear a bang. The girls are now up and I’m nominated to go and investigate on the balcony. Looking and feeling like Cruella DeVille, you can imagine how I felt to discover it was The Wombats. Furious they had woken me whilst trashing their hotel room I let rip into them. My blood actually felt like it was boiling, and the words that came out of my mouth not only shocked me, but every other guest on their balcony.
I hurled abuse, and swung my arms around like I was Louis Spence. The guests cheered at my tirade, and satisfied I had said my piece I waltzed back into our hotel room like a Cheshire cat and the girls burst out laughing.
I looked down, and discovered the guests hadn’t been cheering at my argument with The Wombats, they were actually cheering because my left boob had popped out of my pyjama top when I flung my arms around.
Literally was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. In the end, The Wombats apologised and gave me VIP passes to Love box and V Festival. I like to think it was because of my balcony outburst, but who am I kidding – it was definitely because of the boob!
